The Job

The Job

April 10, 2017

This slow burn short follows Jeff, a washed-up cyclist, who gets a job requiring him to bike alone in a concrete room for hours. The walls are bare; there is not even a clock to keep time. His stationary bicycle is wired from the rear wheel to the back wall. Jeff demands answers from his coworker, Bruce.
“Where do the wires go?” “Don’t ask questions.” What’s on the other side of the wall?

The Job premiered at the Academy-Award qualifying festival, Hollyshorts, in the world famous Mann’s Chinese Theater. The short also screened at the Anthology Film Archives as part of the New Filmmakers Festival, and was a finalist in the USA Film Festival‘s Short Film Competition.
